HOW TO START A JOURNAL
Tuesday, July 4th 2017
There is almost nothing I love more than sitting at my desk
at the end of an adventurous day and reflecting the highlights
into my journal. It's so satisfying looking back on past entries
and remembering different meaningful moments.

COVER
There are certainly no rules to your personal style and/or
aesthetic vibe. However you would like to design your cover
and inner journal is totally up to you. Also, the different
purposes for your journal may vary: bullet journal, travel
notebook, art/doodling, or just a mess of all of them (like
mine :).
In designing my cover I tried to think of little things that
make me happy: traveling, the ocean, flowers, the world,
etc. Before hot gluing everything down I laid out everything
to make sure the placement was just right.
INSIDE
|
As you can probably tell there is no distinct theme or purpose
of this journal. It holds stories, travels, new adventures/
experiences, personal reflections and so much more. I take
photos of all the places I visit, then later print them out polaroid
style and create memories on paper. I also write movie reviews
and restaurant reviews to keep for years to come. One day I
hope I look back in this book and grin at all my experiences.
EMBELISHMENTS
I like to snazz up my entries my adding washi
tape, corresponding stickers, doodles and so
many more small details.
